Bringing Life to Cranioplasty – In the US

OssDsign US, subsidiary of Sweden-based innovator of bone replacement technologies, brought its cranial repair device to American markets in 2017. In a move to capture more of its niche market in 2020, the company engaged UrbanLink to execute a digital marketing campaign that included social media marketing, social media advertising, email marketing, and paid search engine advertising. Our team collaborated with the multinational team to grow awareness and engagement with neurosurgeons conducting cranioplasty and capture analytics through a campaign specific landing page.

Campaign Targeting

Niche and micro niche audiences require pre-campaign targeting research. For this client, we leveraged in depth research to create buyer personas with details of online behaviors including preferred channels, engagement activities, and most active times of day.

Social Media Marketing

Social media marketing has become a powerful tool for the healthcare industry and medical practices with detailed and efficient targeting and analytics to reach niche and micro niche audiences. We established and leveraged Twitter and a LinkedIn Showcase page to spotlight the company’s Cranial PSI (3D printed, patient-specific implant) for repairing cranial defects.

Creative Content & Video Editing

Our design team adapted and enhanced company assets for the US market. A key element for the campaign was physician testimonials. UrbanLink’s video editing team integrated the product with the doctor testimonial for an impactful video clip used in social posts and paid advertising.
